Transfer Pool
After a good suggestion from one of our members we’ve now added a ‘Transfer Pool’ page onto our website. This will be found on the ‘About us’ section
This will be a page for anyone to put forward their details if they were happy to, whether they are a new prospective player looking for a team to join, a team that might be short for numbers and therefore looking for new players to join their team or any players that may be in a larger team and open to a transfer.
With the league being almost at full this will hopefully be a window for people that are interested to play in the future to still join the league if there was a space in a team, it will also prevent any teams from having to fold due to a low number of players
Might work, might not but worth giving it a go!
Knockout Pairs 2026
After a successful season with the first Knockout Pairs tournament we’re giving it a go again for 2026
The competition is free to enter and there are trophies up for grabs!

AGM
Our AGM will be taking place on Wednesday 1st October 7pm at Torre Cider Farm
It will be great to have at least one member from each team present
Application forms will be available to fill in on the night, the cut off date to enter teams for next season will be the date of the AGM
If you aren’t able to attend the AGM and would like to enter your team for next season please contact Sammy before the 1st October to get your application sorted, subs per team will be £30 and can be paid by cash cheque or bank transfer

Congratulations to The Barbarians our 2025 season Champions and our runner up, Boules Deep!
Champion of Champions 2025
This years Champion of Champions event will take place on Sunday 31st August, all teams must arrive by 11.30 ready for a 12pm start
Venue: The White Horse, Washford
BBQ will be on and the usual pub garden menu will be available

Copies of the fixtures will be available at each venue
All winning teams will secure themselves a place in the champion of champions tournament. All winners and runners up will have claim to a trophy.

Round Robin Tournaments 2025
This years Round Robin Tournaments will take place on Sunday 17th August
Provisional start time: Arrive 11.30am ready for a 12pm start however this may change dependant on numbers of teams per league
The cut off date to enter teams will be 20th July however the earlier the notice the better if possible as it will give us a better idea of numbers for the accommodating venues

Welcome back!
Hi all and welcome back to the 2025 season! All captains should hopefully have received the fixtures list, captain contact list and Newsletter, if anyone hasn’t received them please reach out to the secretary for any copies!
By reading this it means you have successfully found our new website for the season! We’ve been working really hard to try and get all of the basics that we’d need moving forward with the season on here however I’m sure we’ll face a few teething problems along the way whilst we find our feet with the new system. If you face any issues with the website or have any questions please contact the secretary and we will work to resolve any issues as quickly as possible. A huge thank you to Neil Freeman for putting in the hours with every technical bit involved with creating this new website!!
Throughout the season any relevant information will be emailed to captains. Our private Facebook page and Whatsapp group chat have also proved useful with spreading the word and keeping everyone up to date, all players are welcome to join these groups. We will also use this page moving forward as another platform to keep you all updated!
